Money With A Mission a DBA name used by Greg Garvan provides, through Natural Investments, LLC, fee-only financial planning services.

Since 1992 Money With A Mission has believed that fee-only socially responsible asset management and comprehensive financial planning are the core ways to connect your values and your financial life. On the investment side, we do this by helping you manage investments using environmental and social screens, as well as financial risk and return analysis. On the financial planning side, we provide a comprehensive overview that outlines your risks and opportunities, as well as ways that you can integrate your values deeper into your financial life.

As a fee-only planning firm, we do not sell anything on commission. Transparency is one of our most important values, and you’ll see this reflected throughout our work. The core of Money with a Mission is on the East Coast although we work with a network of individuals across the country.

GREG GARVAN – After working primarily with foundations and on charitable/tax planning in the 1980s, Greg obtained licenses to practice investment management and financial planning in 1992.  As an Investment Advisory Representative with Natural Investments, LLC (NI) he became a fee-only advisor in 1995. BRADY QUIRK-GARVAN – Brady is excited to be joining Money With A Mission to assist with business development. He is currently studying for his license and will continue to grow his role with the organization. Brady currently serves on the board of the Charleston Development Corporation, the Charleston Greenbelt Advisory Board, the non-profit Remember Niger, We Are Family and serves on the SC Democratic Party State Executive Committee. NANCY WILSON – Nancy is our  part-time administrative support staffer. She has been working with us, behind the scenes,  since the fall of 2012 and has been a big help to both Brady and Greg.  Nancy says she is excited to join Natural Investments/ ‘Money with A Mission’ as an administrative assistant, which certainly makes for a good start!  Nancy’s role is to take care of the details of day-to-day operations which ensures excellent customer service. She brings more than 20 years real estate experience, and is deeply involved with the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks organization. Did you know that they are the largest non-profit providers of scholarship dollars across the country?  We didn’t and Nancy’s commitment to community service is something we have already come to be impressed with.  You are likely to hear from her about administrative issues- Greg and Brady will continue to focus on your direct planning and investment needs.

We also work with a broad team of related specialists: private money managers, proxy vote and shareholder activists, tax and estate planning specialists, charitable and community investment leaders, insurance consultants, and others.

Money with a Mission donates more than 10% of its annual profits to charitable organizations and is committed to providing pro bono services when possible to people in need. We also are on the “Honor Roll” for having more than 1% of assets held in community investments. In 2005, these investments were actually just over 2% of assets.

In 2012 Natural Investments, LLC was listed as “Best FOR the planet” by B-Corp.
