The ’2012 State of Green Business Report’ is out and it is sobering.  Written by Joel Makower, a leading green business personality, it reports that in the 20 areas that they regularly check- e-waste recycling,energy efficiency, toxic emissions, commuting, etc. – many are flat or have even gotten worse.

One area- green power use- has gotten better in the past year.  I have no doubt that Money with a Mission’s decision to use a solar powered website hosting company helped that!.  It begs the questions why the change after a few years of steady progress?  The recession has finally caught up with the green business world.  Here’s hoping 2012 brings past the financial commitments to our future.
